Can a person be charged five counts for a single crime

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by five charges for one crime. If someone steals one car, they would not be charged with find counts if stealing a car. But, in the act if stealing that car, they might commit give crimes, ie tampering, theft, concealment riibbery, speeding, careless and imoruden driving, etc.
