Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

The state of Oklahoma took my 5 grand children and fostered them out in less than a week, stating that there was no where for them to be placed, even though family members were there to take them. Their reasoning for not letting me, their maternal grandmother take them is because I live in Kansas. How do I fight this and regain custody of them.
