Legal Question in Immigration Law in Kansas
My Fiance and I are ready to get married, however, he is here illegally from Mexico. I wanted to know if it is going to be better to go to Mexico (vs the USA) to get married and bring him back as my spouse
1 Answer from Attorneys
If he has been living in the USA illegally for an extended period of time (over 180 days or over a year), his departure from the USA can make him inadmissible for 3 or 10 years. I suggest, you plan your actions carefully and have a detailed consultation with a good immigration lawyer.
