petition to drop charges
i went to the da office because my ex did 1200 damage to vehicle they subpoena me to testify. i want to drop all charges and not go to trial at alli want us to work it out outside of court. can this be done

As a matter of law, all criminal proceedings are brought by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. You are just the complaining witness. It is entirely up to the prosecutor whether or not to drop the charges. As a rule, this is generally done unless the prosecutor feels that the matter should be pushed. Talk to the prosecutor.
