My father is 93 years old was was put in the hospital yesterday with pnemonia. We (his children) have found out that he is basically broke. There are 2 women that he buys anything and everything for. We found 2 checks in his bank statement that he wrote to one of these women. Is there anything legally that we an do about this? Or since that he wrote the checks out and gave it to them can we do nothing?

You should seek assistance from Adult Protective Services and possibly consider either becoming his Power of Attorney or seeking Guardianship through your local district court.
