Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

biological childs rights

When I was a child I was legally adopted by my stepfather,

I have always maintained contact with my biolocical father,

who has recently died. He has no living heirs, and a rather large estate. Do I have any legal rights to his estate?

Re: biological childs rights

A legal adoption cuts off inheritance rights.

If your biological father left a will with you

in it, then you are entitled to whatever he left

you in the will.
