Re: divorse agreements

Certainly the Court has the jurisdiction to change things but it would depend on so many factors that I would be unable to give an adequate response here. Typically, a person in your ex's position resents the payment of child support. Of course, I do not like time sharing arrangements where the children have to live for equal periods at different places. But, you are in this situation. You should consult with your attorney to get better advice. He would know the circumstances behind the agreement which are very important. Also, the time period since the entry of judgment is important. If it is less than two years, there is little chance for a change. You may not need much of a change other than some increase in support to make up the difference. I have not performed the calculations so you may be good in that department. You should enforce your side of the agreement by making him pay the bills he should pay. You need to comply with your side. My best advice is to see counsel and go from there and follow his/her advice.
