Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Can a grandmother take the father's children away

I have a 5 year old son. He is a good boy most of the time but he has his times when he's not. On Tuesday the 20th of July he started to act up at bed time. So I smacked him in the face. I didn't think I hit him that hard but it blacked his eye blooded his nose and knoked one of his teeth out. Now my mother is wanting to take him away from my wife and I. What can I do to stop this. I love my children. This is the frist of this ever happing. What can I do.

Your best bet is to enroll in anger management and parenting classes.
