Legal Question in Health Care Law in Kentucky
Housing issue
My roommates and I were wondering what we could do about an issue that we have. There is mold in our room and there was mold in the kitchen also. He replaced the paneling in the kitchen. I recently told him about the mold in the bedroom and water leak, and he simply said we were moving out anyways. There have been mice in the apartment some of the windows are broken. He is aware of the problem and apparently plans to fix it when we leave. He also has another lease with another group of girls and they paid Junes rent and we also paid half a months rent. I do not really understand how he is doing that. I've had an asthma attack in the middle of the night and bronchitis. My other roommate also has had an upper respiratory infection as well. Please let me know what I can do or if it's possible to get some of our rent money back. Thank you

Re: Housing issue
I suggest you call the Metro Health Department and request assistance. The phone number is in the Blue Pages - I tried to place it in the body of this message but the program wouldn't let me. Good luck - you don't deserve to have your health jeopardized.
