17 year old hit a drunk pedestrian. is he liable?
my 17 year old son struck a pedestrian. he ran out in front of him, the pedestrian was drunk, the police officer said my son had done nothing wrong. but he said he thought the speed limit was 35 and my son wasn't sure but thought he might have been doing 40. the pedestrian was killed we think. is my son in any trouble.

As far as the possibility of criminal charges goes, if the pedestrian was drunk and ran out in front of your son, it sounds like he has a solid defense to any criminal charges.
