Legal Question in Social Security Law in Kentucky

I applied for social security disability around June 2010, was denied. Went thru Round 2, appeal - denied again. Even with physician's packet, etc. Missed 60 day later hearing appeal. Upon addl. research, one man with a crushed arm said he was denied disability at 3 different hearings. Judge said, "You can do a left-handed man's work," and in speaking in candid with a social security employee, he/she confided to me that they are "ordered" to say "NO" each time, unless an attorney or miracle happens, so to speak. What do I have to do to get approved. This was all done on our own, as far as applying - sorry WHO has thousands (or even hundreds) of dollars for an attorney!? Am asking help & advice now due to additional physical limitations. Thank you, greatly.

If I understand correctly, you missed a deadline for appeal, and now wish to start over, due to new, additional medical problems. You should be aware that under Social Security law, attorneys (and non-attorney advocates) are customarily limited to payment of 25% of a backpay award, if there is one. Further, fees cannot be charged without the approval of the Social Security Administration. I hope this information is helpful.
