where can i go to get power of attorney papers and what must i do to make it legal

A Power of Attorney is, as you are probably aware, a document in which "Person 1" grants authority to "Person 2" to do specified acts on his/her behalf. Most attorneys, myself included, prepare these for a relatively small fee, unless there is something unusual about the specific request. If real estate is involved, a POA must be filed in the County Clerk's office; otherwise, it is normally self-effectuating.
