Re: the will of mother-in-law

Under Ky law, a will must be "probated." This

means that it must be filed

with the district court and

proven to be authentic. The judge

will then appoint someone to carry out

the provisions of the will. This person

is referred to as the "executor (male)" or

"executrix (female)."

A codicil is an amendment to a will.

I hope this is helpful for you.
