Legal Question in Construction Law in Louisiana
Hi..i have a contractor renovating my house..we have signed contracts..but he has already taken over 6 months & some floors are not down, cabnets are not in & some of the floors are installed badly. my driveway is not as we discussed, he is taking short cut with the work that will cost me in the long run. what can i do to make him responsible for what he is contrated to provide?

Fire him, find another contractor, and sue him for the overages expended by you as a result of his mistakes. Make sure the new contractor documents all mistakes and problems with the original contractor's work.
