Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

Foreclosure

I got behind on my house back in June & July of 06, but since then I've made all payments. I've spoke with the mortgage co. and have explained my situation also letting them know I have every intention to catch up the June & July payments. Now it is February 07 and they have retained an attorney threatening to foreclose is this possible?

Yes, they can foreclose if you are in default on the mortgage. You should seek the advice of a foreclosure or consumer attorney immediately.
