Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
I'm currently in Goldsboro, NC and serving in the military and my wife decided to drop the D word on me. (Divorce) I very much want to try and work on our relationship since we haven't actually been in the same house very often for one reason or another. Be it deployments or extended vacations to her parents. My wife is currently in Louisiana where I will be headed soon because my contract in the military is almost up. My question to you is, could I somehow make it mandatory to receive some sort of extended marriage counseling by law to attempt to give us a chance or must I simply accept the fate she has decided for us? We also have 3 kids and have been married for just over 3 years. (Twins)
Thanks for all your help in advanced,

Unless it was a covenant marriage under La law, there is no provision for counseling. You may suggest mediation and that may open a possibility for such discussions.
