Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Retrieving a child from another state.

Granddaughter is visiting father in LA. Joint custody with physical care and control awarded to my daughter. Grandaughter went with the intention of staying for remainder of school year. Father is being sneaky, refuses to allow the child to speak to the mother without him on another phone. My question is can my daughter simply go to LA and bring her child back home. No court orders or any other documentation has changed the custody issue. Father has record of domestic abuse and during divorce action he was under a restraining order. This is the first real contact he has ever had with the child.

Thank you

The Court order is the law. Take it to an attorney for guidance.
