Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

access to own records

I am changing accountants. I asked for my file and received 2-3 pieces of paper. I was told that that is all I could have. Does the CPA have to provide me with copies of everything if requested, or do they have a right to keep all of my information?

This accountant filed an extension for 2003 taxes. I need to get all info. to file ASAP.

Re: access to own records

Your records should be yours, I suggest you file a complaint with the CPA's disciplinary board.
