Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana
My girlfriend donated her car to me so that I could register it in my name and acquire auto insurance on it. This was done because she cannot renew her drivers license because of large fees owed from traffic tickets, and she doesn't have a job and cannot afford insurance. I have handled the upkeep of the car. repairs and provided gas. We are splitting up and she wants the car back. Can she do this?
