How do i get my mobile home in my name

My boyfriend and i purchased a mobile home in his name, i had no credit.He left about a year ago i dont know where he is, the home is still in his name.How can i get it put in my name? I have been making payments since he has been gone. The place that financed the home wont talk to anyone but him.I am scared to tell them that he is no longer here, they might come and get the home.It is a 2000 model, 14x70 mobile home,and i still owe about $18,000.00 on it.What are my legal rights to this home?The home is on my parents property.My little girl and i live in it.Please help.Thank you.

You have no legal rights except to reimbursement for the monies you have spent. I suggest you get an attorney and attempt to get a judgment recognizing you as 1/2 owner based on the agreement and the fact you are paying the mortgage. I do not know if you will be successful, but not being married left you without the protection of the community property laws.
