In order for a U.S. citizen to petition for a fiancee, we'll have to establish that you two have met in person. After we establish that you qualify (or guide you on what steps you'll need to qualify), you will file a fiancee petition for her with the U.S. Immigration Service. Once it is approved, she will need to apply for a fiancee visa at her U.S. Consulate in Russia. Once she is admitted into the U.S., you and she will need to be married within 90 days. After the marriage, you will file another petition in order for her to obtain her green card.

This is not really a complicated process, but it does require great detail and understanding of Immigration Law and Procedure. The process will not happen over night, but over several months.

My law office is staffed by attorneys who have a combined 40-plus years of experience in Immigration Law. We are also members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), which helps to promote and solve immigration problems. Additionally, our office is staffed with Russian speakers who can facilitate the process for you.

Note, most out-of-state attorneys can legally assist you because we are permitted to practice federal immigration law outside of our state of jurisdiction. Please feel free to contact me for a free initial consultation.

Sincerely,
