rental eviction

i live in louisiana and i am on section 8 . I signed a 1 year lease on 10-07. my landlord gave me a 30 day notice to vacate on 03-11-08 because he said he can get more money renting to someone else. do i have to move even though my lease is not up until october 08?

I do not think he is entitled to terminate your lease on those grounds. You should contact an attorney ASAP.
