Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

My mothers will did not specify per stirpes distribution although it did mention her grandchildren to be given certain amount of monies. My brother and I are co-independent administrators of the small estate. My brother died last year bequeathing everything to my nephew . I have been living in the home although property had not been put into either of our names. Can I be forced to sell by my brothers heir? In Louisiana.
