Legal Question in Workers Comp in Louisiana

If I have been provided light duty after a fall at work while awaiting a doctor's appt.Can I be forced to use my personal sick time and extended illness time to do to workman's comp related appointments,testing and therapy?

If you are making your full wages, then you can be required to use your sick leave. If you were off work because of a work related injury, then you would receive compensation benefits that are less than full wages, and you would not have to show up to work and therefore there is no work for you to take off from.
