Legal Question in Banking Law in Maryland
my wife and are seperated, not legally. she doesn't want a divorce or get legeally seperated.but she tells me i can't take money out of our joint account.. and she is seeing someone else. and i've been truthful going to therapy and trying to work it out, and she says she wants to work it out but not yet.. is it wrong for me to take money out of our account?

Legally, you can take money out of the account. You should keep a record of your expenditures for marital debt. However, wiping the account clean may look back in court. Moreover, Maryland is an equitable division state. As a result, the money taken out of the account for nonmarital debt may be charged against you in the division.
If you want a divorce, you may want to hire a private detective to determine if she's having an affair. Adultery is a gound for divorce. Also, you may want to file for a limited divorce.
