Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
Business partnership ended in Ma 2010. He still continues to operate business in MD as 100% owner. Recently sent me invoice for tax preparation fees and states I am responsible for 50%. I find this repulsive. Does he have any right even though in the dissolution agreement it clearly states I am no longer associated and have no obligations to the company.

If the dissolution agreement ends you responsibility for company expenses, then the company should pay this, not you. You didn't indicate what kind of entity--general partnership, LLC or small corporation, but that really shouldn't matter. You should receive a K-1 from the tax preparer for your share of the profits if any from the part of the year that you were still involved in the company.
