Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland

I purchased a used vehical as is the problem is that before the purchase I asked if anything was wrong the car the man told me no it may need an oil change or tune up I ask about leaks he stated no it's his fast when I test drove the car I asked if there was transmission problems he showed me how to detect a transmission problem the car seemed fine the next day I went in to purchase the vehical the same gentalmen that took me on the test drive took the car to reedeem my gas voucher he detected a problem notified his manager and didn't say anything to me the buyer the manager offered me a warrenty 3 month or 3000 miles and it will cover the transmission I then asked was there an issue with it he said no just in case and I had til Friday to purchase the warrenty I had the car 2 glues it ran hot and the transmission leaked fluid and it had no oil in it he is only willing to give me 250 towards the cost of repair am I covered by the unfair and deceptive act?
