Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Maryland
phone harassment
A woman accuses me keeping calling her on the phone and harass her. She refuses go to the police to report. She keeps telling this lie to my loved one. Do I have the right to go to the police to get her phone record to clear my name?

Re: phone harassment
You don't have the right to go the police to get her phone records; they don't have them.
However, you may want to seek consultation with a lawyer who practices in defamation to determine if you have a civil claim against her. During the civil matter, you can subpoena her phone records.
