Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland
Debt
In May 2007, I did plumbing work for someone I know.
On completion of said work I mailed an invoice for payment for $1,600.00.[materials and labor]
I have still not received payment.
what are my options, as I cannot afford legal representation.

You can file a complaint against the person in small claims court. Go to District Court of Maryland website as a starting point. The site has a host of information, including forms and directories to the applicable county courts, including, Wicomico County. So, go to www. courts.state.md.us/district/directories.html
