IN 20O5 I was arrested for open containerI In ocean city md didn't go to court they issued I bench warrant for my arrest 9 years later they pick me up in Hancock md it been more then 7 years is there a statute of limitations to convict me for that chargeand if so why was I rested

The statute of limitations would require the state to charge you within a certain time, and it did so by citation. You might have other defenses.
