Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

I have a 34 yr old alcoholic son who repeatdly get locked up from working and panhandling at a gas station around our previous neighborhood where he gets up at the crack of dawn to sweep a liqour store parking lot rain or snow to get his cigarettes and beer money but he get locked up for eing drunk and trespassing so please tell me how much time he can get for trespassing there has been 12 to 14 charges 6 more by the time this is not over he got locke up 24 hrs ago how much time can a judge get for trespassing. I need to get help for his alcoholic addiction he is mentally chanallengned which his mind is telling him this is a real job. he is n ot stealing he is working hegets a social security check for his disablity. He missed two appt for rehab, I am his representative and I would like to admit him for detox but we missed today's appt he throws up each and every morning thats m y alarm clock , what can I do ?

Petition the District Court of Maryland for an Emergency Evaluation. You will have to go to your local District Court location, but you may want to look for more information and the appropriate forms at mdcourts.gov before you make the trip.
