Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Someone is accusing me of vandalizing their property without any proof that I have done anything, and I have not done anything. They have told me that they have called the police through text message and I cant contact the person because they have bloced me from contacting them. What can the police do and what can happen?

While you control whether you violate the law, you cannot control whether you are accused. Charges may be filed.
You should not contact the person, because harassment and telephone misuse charges may be added. If someone has falsely accused you of one kind of offense, then you should not give them an opportunity to accuse you of another.
