Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

i was arrested in 2004 for posession with intent to distribute marijuana. I was not convicted just let out of jail with time served. I am wondering what i can do to remove this from my background. This shows in my background as a felony conviction, and has been hindering me in my search for new employment.

Time-seved is a sentence, and a sentence may only be imposed after a guilty finding. However, sometimes defendants are held for a period of time and then released when the case is dismissed. Nolle prosequi, stet, and probation before judgement may be expunged. Guilty findings are not, unless first you successfully challenge them as unconstitutional via post-conviction or coram nobis, and the new result is one that may be expunged. I offer a free initial consultation, if you would like to discuss the specifics of your case. For confidentiality reasons, I strongly recommend that you not discuss the details on line.
