Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Bench warrant question
My brother has to go to court because he was a witness to a crime. He has a bench warrant out for him because he didn't attend a previous court case. Will they arrest him if he shows up for the trial of the crime he witnesed?

Re: Bench warrant question
Yes, they will likely arrest him, however, if he obtains an attorney there might be a possibility that the attorney can convince the judge to lift the warrant.
I would be happy to discuss the matter further if you contact my office.
