Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
is there any way I can clear or fix the proble I had almost 10 or 9 years ago I dated a guy who was younger than me I had to went to court and I was charge with sex offence in 4th degree?? now I trying to get a job but only one person is agaisnt me getting the job but the manager wants to help get it what can I do about it?? please help me I need the job my mom and son depends on me ??

Whether you can do anything about the record depends on what the record indicates, whether you were effectively represented by counsel, and whether your rights were violated in the original case.
You need to check your court file to find out the exact disposition, or have a lawyer check for you. You may be able to get it expunged or get a new hearing to be granted a Probation Before Judgment (and then an expungement 3 years from now). And, as Mr. Welch says, you could possibly have a case fora post-conviction petition, for which you would need to check with a lawyer.
