What determines a good cause for expongement, for a midemeanor offense that had a guilty verdict, and conviction, after 5 years?

You may not expunge a conviction. Perhaps you may modify the sentence, postconvict your lawyer, if no motion to modify was filed, or petition for writ of error coram nobis. The last two can involve significant time and resources. I offer a free initial consultation.
