None. "Armed robbery" is termed robbery with a dangerous weapon and the maximum penalty in the statute is 20 years. Although attempt is a common law misdemeanor in Maryland and there is no set penalty, the limit is anything that is not "cruel and unusual" under the Constitution. Court's look to the completed offense to determine what is appropriate, which in this case would be 20 years.
