Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

i have a drinking citation and a fta from last year but the problem is it wasnt me. someone else used my identity and i think i know who it was i just dont have proof yet i was wondering if i get a copy of the citation and have it compared to my signature could that be enough proof it wasnt me?

It can be enough, if the court believes you. It may also be possible to negotiate dismissal of an alcohol citation in exchange for completion of community service hours and alcohol an awareness class.
