Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
i have old drug charges from three years ago but i been charge recently with a handgun possession will this be a felony charge or a misdemnor

Whether your gun charge is a felony depends on the nature of what you have presently been charged with. Wearing, carrying, and transporting a handgun is a misdemeanor under Maryland law. However if you have previously been convicted of a felony, then you might be charged with being a felon in possession of a handgun, and that is a felony charge.
