Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I was found guilty of possession of paraphernalia and put on probation before judgement. The probation period was for one day and ended 10/16/10. I had other charges along with it but all were given the disposition nolle prosequi. I was wondering when I could file for expungement? Is it bad to apply for expungement to early?

The law says 3 years, but sometimes judges grant motions to permit expungement earlier than that.
Here is a link to information about expungement:

Unless you have a really really good reason, you will have to wait 3 years. But there is no harm in filing early, you won't waive your right to file again.
