Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
i had a fradulent check sent to me,I din't know it was fake,so i went to the store to make arangments to pay on the check,and the payment was refused.What could happen?

You may be charged with passing a bad check. You may be arrested or summoned to court. However, you would have the opportunity to examine the evidence against you, defend yourself at trial, and have the assistance of a lawyer.
