Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
My friend was taken down to the office with about 15 other kids today during school. They suspected them of Adderall possession/distribution. Unfortunately (even though my friend does sell, he just allegedly buys) he and another kid were caught with some (I don't know how much, probably around 10 pills) and were put into a police car. What complicates things further is, he's 18 and not a US citizen (British/Korean). What are the best and worst case scenarios in this case, considering Adderall is a Schedule II drug?

Best case is that the state decides not to prosecute him or that he receives probation for simple possession. Worst case is prison time for possession with the intent to distribute and deportation.
