Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Is it against the law to lie to a 911 dispatcher about any or all of a statement when requesting service for Fire, Medical, or police response? I am a 911 dispatcher for a local county government and would like to know for future reference.

Depending on the circumstances, it might be. For instance, knowingly calling in a false alarm would probably violate the law, but just getting something wrong probably would not.
