can i be locked up for stealing from target over 7 times? i am pregnant and im very scared because i got caught last month stealing under $300.00

If you are convicted of theft, jail is a possible penalty. Although its not inevitable, you should consult with an attorney as the charge of theft is not something you want on your record whether or not you go to jail.

Yes. Theft under $500 carries up to 18 months incarceration. In addition to the nature of the offense the state and the court will consider a defendant's prior record.
