Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
a well known mariners school randomly opened my mail and they found my pain pills my girlfriend sent me for my broken finger. I was questioned & signed a guilty form. They did not arrest me. I finished out the school month/. I never got a summons. until 3months later - a second summons for my arrest, as I never got the 1st. Was it illegal for school to open my package? I gave them letter from my doc prescribing them. now I got to go to trial clear across country Thanks for your time
