after the pbj period is over and all the requirements are fufilled. will it still show up on your record. my pbj is active until dec 8 and shows up for emplyment records it was a misdameanor charge for which i pled not guilty

Yes, it will still show up on your record until and unless you go through the procedure of expungement. Expungement is the term for removing certain records of charges from public records in Motor Vehicle Administration, police, and court files.

You cannot file for an expungment until two conditions are met: first, the PBJ period must be over with all the requirements fulfilled, AND second, it must be at least 3 years since your probation was granted.

Note:You cannot file for expungement if the charge was a DUI or DWI.

Procedurally, even though you pled not guilty, you either proceeded on a statement of facts or had a trial. The court found you guilty, but offered to strike the guilty finding in favor of probation before judgement.
