Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Person is on pre-trial release for a new crimal charge "assult" etc....he has a public defender......he had a 10 year crimal case found guild of "Expunged" by a lawyer years ago.......question: Both State attorney and public defender said he did not have a known crimal history in court so far (same state Md but different county) but I am afraid that is only because the State attorney just has not gotten to it and the public defender was not told.......will the old criminal case eventually be found (it is related I.e. domestic violence and miss use of firearm) and can it be used now?

It is not admissible as a conviction for impeachment purposes, but he might be asked about the conduct itself, if the court finds that it is admissible.
