Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I am on pretrial release and I missed my one month report day, because I had to take my son to the hospital. I contacted my case manager and left a message. When I tried to go in and see him again we where hit by the blizzard. I have been prefect so far on my pretrial relase and this is the first incident. He has issued a bench warrent for me is there a way to write the judge and have it lifted? My court case is on the 28th and my sons 1st birthday is on the 15th which I would like to be out for.

You had better have documentation that you took your son to the hospital. The court may consider a motion to recall the warrant.
