Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Hi I have a question I live in the state of maryland, and my firend stole 200 dollars from her grandparents and her grandparents say they pressing chargers. She has a 6 year old son and her grandparts say she can't stay there but her son can. My friend has told them she will pay them back and they say no. Is there anything she can do? Your friend should not say or write anything about what she has done has not done. If charged, she should seek a confidential consultation with an experienced criminal defense attorney. If she cannot afford to retain one, then she showed a apply to the office of the public defender for an appointed one.
