Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I was recently charged with mellicious destruction and theft of a scotter when i bought the scooter from a friend of a friend but i've been to court and was told to jus pay 200 for the damage of the scooter and that it would be null processed ....ddoes this mean nothing will be on my records?

A nol pros disposition means that the case will not be prosecuted and the charges will be dropped. Once the nol pros is entered, you may file a petition for expungement to clear the case from your record.

If you own the scooter, then the state would have to dismiss the charges.
